What's this rumor about American Vogue putting an Asian model on the cover!! I hope it's true. I would certainly treasure that cover and I'm sure it'd sell great seeing as how a big part of Vogue's target audience are asians Du Juan would be perfect for the cover! (Although I think it more likely that American vogue would put an Asian actress that Americans are familiar with already, like Zhang Ziyi, on its cover before a model...)

The rumor was told by Anna Bayle the first Asian Supermodel who is Filipina, who is a catwalk legend, and still has inside connections in the industry. Ms. Bayle was the queen of the runways in the 70s and 80s and her runway walk is legendary, literally unmatched, she was also a cover girl as well, very beautiful.

That's the reason why I don't get Hye Park the girl is photogenic but she needs to get her eyes fixed, all Korean women get eyelid surgery, and even caucasian models like Daria (nose job) and Gisele (nose job/boob job) need surgery to work, it's no big deal.

WOW! In my opinion, angel222 sounds pretty ignorant! ....Each person has their own identity, such as a look! If you say Korean people should have an eyelid surgery, well then your asking all Korean people to have that done! Koreans such as I have eyelids like Hye's and I'm perfectly happy with them because that is a part of me, my nationality. And for you to say Daria should have a nose job and Gisele nose job/boob job sounds down right Stuuuuupid!!!
How do you think they got to where they are today? I mean, come on! Cindy Crawford and her beauty mark, Gemma and her alien look(that's what most people in here say) Lily Cole and her doll look, etc, etc, etc. Each model has a look of their own, as well as flaws.
