WHAT?!? how can you group Lu Yan & Hye Park into the same category lol.
Lu Yan is like on a totally different pedestal...she's this extraordinary/divine/exhiliarating/alien beauty, while Hye represents everything bland/boring/banal - pretty much your average Asian American. haha.

not many chinese models liked to go overseas considering for a chinese, to be with family is so so so important

well, the young Chinese that i know aren't that tradition-bound like you have described. theyre just as independent as any people today, family doesnt come in the way when it comes to career - most would think it'd be ridiculous.

the models dont like to go overseas either because they feel they wont succeed (it's a tough business, esp when you arent fluent in the language) or have little chance or arent all that motivated. (again, weighing the benefit against cost)

Anyway, Du's Mango Ads were gorgeous! Each and every shot is simply genius! I really love the air of sophistication she gives of, Ai and Hye exudes that kind of charm too which is why I love them all!
