Supermodel Elle Macpherson has been hired by Revlon to represent the brand globally.
Under the contract, Macpherson will be featured in an upcoming global ad campaign and will be involved in company sponsored philanthropic activities.
“Elle’s special qualities as a businesswoman, beautiful and talented model, actress and mother represent the essence of the Revlon brand,” said David Kennedy, Revlon’s president and CEO, in a statement.
Macpherson is a prominent figure in business, fashion, film and television. She oversees one of the most well known and expanding brand names in beauty and women’s lingerie called Elle Macpherson Intimates. She has two sons and is an ambassador for three global charitable organizations. She is well known for her record six Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covers. Her acting career includes films such as “Sirens,” “The Edge” and “Batman,” and a stint on the television hit series, “Friends.”
In addition to Macpherson, a number of well-known actresses represent the brand, including Academy Award winner Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Beau Garrett.
The company’s brands include, Revlon, Almay, Mitchum, Charlie, Bozzano, Gatineau and Ultima II.
