Well this is my opinion and just because they are Inès's daughters we are supposed to find them pretty or see them on a cover of a magazines? Sorry but to me her daughters are not pretty & It's a real bad cover & I just say what i think. Period.


Because French Elle used to have such beautiful covers. Now almost 50% of their covers is a total let go.

Calling a 12-year old 'ugly' IS indeed rude and not necessary.

As for the Dutch ELLE cover... well, Doutzen's old pose 'open mouth' and a weird mother-daughter thing indeed. I've never ever liked a single version of Dutch ELLE, they rip off other covers and seem to be completely desperate to keep up w/ big mags like Vogue etc. Which just illustrates how sad things are in the Dutch fashionbiz.

And I love this Megan cover At least I am pretty sure she was a pretty baby girl

Why do people always get so wound up about Elle France. My god. It's not the Elle equivalent of Vogue Paris or Vogue Italia. It's a weekly magazine, good grief.

Ines and her daughter are cute enough.

I agree with you. I always buy the magazine every week and i don't really care about the covers... If the cover is beautiful or it's someone i like it's a bonus but that's it.
I have to say though that i was a bit annoyed to see Ines with one of her daughter but when i read the magazine, i changed my mind.
It's always nice to see Ines .

For me, French Elle is more of a lifestyle magazine, it's about stuff like politics and cookery - fashion is a strong element, but it's not the whole point. And sometimes there's a celebrity on the cover, other times it'll be a bare bottom and a feature about cellulite. One week, you'll see an unknown model, and the next, Catherine Deneuve. It's all a big mix and that's the charm of the magazine.

Yeah, the one that comes to my mind now is from perhaps 2 or 1,5 years ago. Vogue did a body issue w/ Natalia Vodianova and covered her nipples with 'the Body Issue', 6 months later ELLE NL did something so similar, naked girl, same-ish pose, colors and 'the Body Issue' covering her nipples.

We do indeed not live in a care bear world. But it is incredibly stupid to think that it is necessary to be 'pretty' in this world. And when you say these things about a young girl you will exude that it IS necessary. And for young girls these things are not just stupid comments or a weird opinion but actually harmfull and thus I think it is uncalled for.
