I disagree, especially when used in the right context. With Christy's reprint, I find it relevant. The entire look is similar to F/W 10.11 Louis Vuitton.

At first, that scrawl of Lara didn't impress me, but the more I looked at the overall picture, the more I was charmed by the idea of it - it's the little needle that sets it off - and the way the magazine dared to do it.

I do like fashion illustration making an occasional appearance on covers, although in general, I would rather it was more accomplished than that deliberately naive image, even if I do get the conveyed sense of amateur design.

Swedish Elle December 2010 with Helena Seger, I read that she's the partner of Zlatan Ibrahimović, footballer with AC Milan and the Swedish national team (elle.se)

I am so glad their December cover is ugly to me, I didn't want to ask my friend my friend mail me another issue of Swedish Elle after the September and November ones. I was starting to feel bad.

My local seller doesn't have Elle Sweden any more. I hope I can find it somewhere else, it is one of those mags I used to buy in every month.
