When someone directly links to a cover shot on a page, there is always a risk that this image can be replaced with a newer image, with no change to the URL. Because this has happened here, we see the new cover instead of the one that was originally intended to appear.

But no doubt there will come a moment where an edition of Elle will recycle its own cover material, never mind recycling six-year-old images from other magazines.
