A cover shot of Italian Elle in 2016 probably looks little different to how they did in 1996. Is this one magazine that will never have a 'millennial makeover' - or when it does, will it mean the entire fashion magazine industry is two issues away from shutting down?

Quite a few striking and stylish covers here, especially Arizona Muse and her wavy bob. The girl on Dutch Elle is absolutely gorgeous, and I also like Lily Aldridge's cover with a Bulgari necklace (? - blatant plugging).
It's a bit ironic that

The worst offenders are Lily Rose Depp's covers, which will probably sell in France purely because of her following, and the Swedish group covers. The cast should've been whittled downed for the latter, imo, too many faces here. And maybe replace Mon J with Vendela Kirsebom.

Vendela is Norwegian though, I'm guessing the point of the cover is that they're Swedish top models

Vendela was born to a Norwegian mother and Turkish father, IN Sweden. That makes her Swedish, imo!! If not, then maybe we can nitpick some of the other girls on that cover.

Well, she's Norwegian-Swedish from what I gather I have never seen her promoted in Swedish Elle as one of "their own" models as they do with for instance Caroline Winberg, Emma Wiklund, Frida Gustavsson and Frida Westerlund. Kind of like Helena Christensen getting her annual covers in the Danish magazines really..
