Does anyone know where the scarf/shawl is from? It could just be a random scarf/shawl though, but I thought the pattern on it was familiar..

personally the cut doesn't work for me. it doesn't look bad at all, but i think she's more suited to longer hair. maybe it will look better when it grows out a little more, or she grows it into a bob...
it's a big move though and i respect her for that, i know i could never have the guts to cut it that short and if she's happy with it, that's all that matters

by the way, i'm assuming the last 2 harry potter movies are done filming? i feel it would be weird if she suddenly had a new cut in one scene.

Emma Watson`s Hair Cut was for Dragon Tattoo Audition
Harry Potter star Emma Watson's recent hair cut was reportedly part of her audition for the lead role in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

The 20-year-old actress was recently spotted with a new cropped hair-do and new reports claim she has been screen-testing for the part of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the new movie.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: 'Emma has auditioned with director David Fincher and cut her hair to look the part. The character of Lisbeth is a misfit goth-type girl with spikey hair.'

Other stars that are also said to be interested in the role include Ellen Page, Carey Mulligan and Kristen Stewart.
