i don't think i understand the expectation that emmanuel will have changed all of a sudden now that she is EIC of vogue...

wasn't she chosen for a reason? and wouldn't it be weird if she were to morph into something else all of a sudden?

it seems like she would be criticized whether she changes or not...

certainly she's stepping into a new role and has big shoes to fill but it seems like some people are expecting her to become carine now that she has her old job...

of course not, but she has the chance to change to the better now. to be honest, her latest editorial work wasn't that exciting. if she will continue to only work with/for balmain, marant and so on there will not be any interesting change. and that we already know how her first cover will look like it's just boring...

She looked amazing during the couture show, and its good that she keeps the same style even though she's EIC. Just hope she'll wear others designers. I'm dying to see her in an Haider Ackermann jacket!!!
But I must say that her outfit with the vintage fur was absolutely stunning.
