I had to do a double take when I first saw the ads.. featuring Kate Moss and Devn Aoki in designs that were.. politely put.. 'different'.
Expensive ads in international fashion magazines, the designs peddled on the backs of some of fashions most expensive models.. I had a hard time making sence of that

It doesn't grap me.. this mix of embellished childrens wear, juicy couture (velour) and bad early 80ies (?) flashback. But it is fun, I'll give it that.

I did a seach and found that nobody else mentioned Emperor Moth on tFS..and I couldn't help but wonder..are we trying to silence it to death? ^_^

weird, I see no bigger russian influence (elegance)on these tacky designs. Hiring famous models doesn't mean the success..Waste of money and time, at all :)

strange, i'd take it as a generously budgeted ironical art project, if there weren't listed stores all over the world on their site...

if that last jacket were in a heavier fabric and more tailored,it would be completely beautiful. That detail is just marvelous there! It actually reminds a little of the work by LRRH-but different, and stronger compostions.

But the embellishment I actually love but it is that cheesy choice of fabrication that leaves me feeling less enthusiastic. As if the embellishment there as mere novelty?? I dunno.

The simple fact that they chose those fabrics with those embellishments show the taste. It's all a bit too much and I can't imagine it being that cute on an actual person if you were to see them walking down the street.

Oh no. This isn't right at all.

I adore it! ! ! !

Edit: (Replied too soon) I like what's pictured in the ads, but not that hideously coloured velour sh*t in the pieces. Ew what is that? It's like that foul [pseudo-]hippie sh*t that saturated 1997-1999 but with a sprinkle of crack addiction and late Las Vegas nights. . ? .

I like some elements of some of the designs. But all of them put together is just too busy.

someone somewhere put this stuff together and then apperently got alot of other people to take it seriously enough to support it i.e. advertise, sell etc.
pretty cool.
I'd love to see someone wearing it. I bet the right person could do it. But there'd be no going back.
It's like becoming a vampire... you're either in or you're out.
But, to continue the metaphore.... aside form the fact that you secretly want to die, you probly sort of feel inhumanly imortal.

It needs work ... I see potential ... they need to get their act up together and they can def. grow as a brand and something aesthetically nice to see/wear

Ahhh I think susie bubble mentioned those in her blog!!

I really like (no love!) it somehow, it's just so nice and colorful and funky! I don't see so much Russian in there though .. But I could imagine one of those Harajuku girls wearing them I think.
But I'm strangely drawn to everything colorful and neon lately so my acute love for this may just be another symptom of that...

[strike]I really love the blue jacket...I would definately wear that.[/strike]
otherwise......meh. The clothes are pretty, but not good for much.
I take that back...the blue jacket is denim. yuck. I thought it was silk or taffeta.

LOve the ads. have to say, getting a supermodel to model their clothes was a smart move - coz automatically attention gets focused on the brand. even if the clothes themselves are mediocre. too much going on at one time.
some of the jackets are quite nice though. but i would definately not wear the jacket with those fishnet stockings that Devon wears in the ad

omg, her stuff of atrocious! It looks, gulp, MUCH MUCH MUCH better in these photos than it does in real life! If you can believe it. I used to pass by her shop in london every day and there is never anyone in it. I walked in, it's a very expensive space, just opposite marc jacobs store. The stuff is really badly made, with cheap fabrics, it looks like something a 15 year old would sew in her home economics class. There are now SA's a japanese and a russian girl, I told them I saw ads in magagazines and she was like, that was last year, right? I asked her, don't you advertise anymore and she said it was one off! Like a one-off promotion. I think there was certain buzz around this label when it was first in Vogue and I-D with Kate Moss but once it hit the stores and people realized what crap it is, it was slow death from then on. I can't imagine her making any money.
