This collection is OK, I don't feel too much about it.
But that kind of long boots are horrible!

This is what happens when you don't have a obviously salient Balenciaga collection to rip off.

I thought Etro was for frou frou old people? At this point I'd rather be bored than offended.

Did you guys see what Suzy M wrote about Etro? It's a pretty major slam Let me go find it ...

Occasionally in the Etro show the mind drifted away from Veronique Etro's interpretations of Balenciaga brass-buttoned coats and Azzedine Alaïa's tutu skirts and was brought up with a jolt by something interesting: a furry gilet over a wisp of a mid-calf skirt that fit with Etro's modern hippie look or a similar idea of a thick wool vest over a silken flowered dress.

Etro talked in her program notes about layers, the better to cope with a climate that produced the naked branches on snow-covered trees that were her backdrop. But mostly, the layers were peeled off other designers's ideas. And it is time to get to the kernel of what Etro stands for - and why it is having a show.
