That piece looks like it has grown.
Like, a tree. The bottom piece grew, somebody put a belt on the top, the rest grew through and around it.
It's seriously fantastic.

WOW! I'm loving it so far...

I'm on board, from what I see so far. This is 80s done in a really modern, tasteful, abstracted, NOT literal, way. Ferre himself was a genius in constructing gravity-defying shapes, I wonder who has taken over? Seems to be doing a decent job in preserving and updating the legacy.
