A question mark lingered over Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi's second Gianfranco Ferre show. The label's parent company, IT Holding SpA, declared bankruptcy earlier this week, and it's not entirely certain that this collection will actually go into production. That's a shame because the designers have demonstrated not only an appreciation for Ferré's legacy, but also an ability to finesse the trends.

So this collection won't go into production at all?

I'm seriously, absolutely gutted.

Some looks are stunning, but some are flat out frumpy. Which is some sort of an accomplishment with this much rigid draping actually.

I like the collection, yet I am not drooling over it. Tailoring and fabric choice are noteworthy though.
