i think there should definitely be heaps more out there in the HIGH fashion industry cos they are absolutely stunning! Their features suit both the european market and the asian market.
So why are there so little of them around!!!. ( i can only think of Devon as the highest achieving)

do any of you guys know of any others.

Have you heard of Danielle Graham? I think she's based mostly in Hong Kong but she definitely has international appeal.

A bunch of my Eurasian friends are models, although they're not tall enough to get into couture or runway (they're around 5'4", 5'3"). So they do mostly print, and only locally. It's a shame; Eurasians are beautiful.

Can anyone tell me about some Eurasian models (well mostly models, but if you know of any actresses, singers, etc. please post them too!)? I can only think of Devon Aoki (British/Japanese) and Gemma Ward (okay, not really, but she definetely looks the part!)

Hmm - Eurasian models aren't too prominant. Devon is the only one I can think of, too.

I can see what you mean by Gemma looking slightly Asian - I've been seeing comments like that about her lately. If she dyed her hair to brown, it'd look more obvious. Haha - I wonder if I went blonde and put in blue contacts, would I look like her? LOL. (I have her face shape, the same wide-set eyes, although our lips and noses are slightly different).

There were some eurasian models on models.com's model of the week, I think.

fun! the only other one i can think of right now is aline nakashima - i always keep my out for them because i'm half japanese and half white and it makes me think i could maybe have a chance modeling or acting. i think it's interesting to see how other halfies look!

ohh, i'm loving this hapa love. ^^ I assume you're not from the West coast (US) since you use the term eurasian? It's funny how even that changes regionally. You might check out the pictures at Kip Fulbeck's The Hapa Project (http://www.seaweedproductions.com/hapa/) if you're interested in seeing other hapas.... They're not models, but we tend to be curious about our own. <g>

Hell yeah though. I'm half british/chinese as well. My chinese grandmother entertained notions of me popping out w/ green eyes and red hair but perfectly asian facial features... natch, I came out on the brown hair, brown eyes end. Oh well, we've got Kristin Kreuk repping for us in that arena. Not too shabby. ;p

I do think that on average, "eurasian" or "hapa" people are incredibly beautiful. My friend is half-Spanish, half-Chinese, and she has brown hair and green eyes and is totally gorgeous. Her younger brother is the same, but he has dark brown, almost black hair, and blue eyes (he's got a VERY Jim Caviezel look - I came back last summer from University, and the first time I saw him, I almost didn't recognize him - and I've known him since he was LITTLE! lol.) I have some misc. blood in me, but it's really unknown as to what it is. Haha. Maybe I'm part Russian or English...damn my family for not being diligent enough at keeping family trees.

I think Aline Nakashima and Jacqueline Alblas have incredibly attention-grabbing looks.

oh wow O_o the pair of 'em, but the younger bro especially sounds beautiful!

yeah, there's some genetic weight to those eurasian-hapas turning out nice. nothing like diversity to produce that sought after symmetry. the stereotypical asian features are pretty dominant though, so it's arresting when you get people, mods, pop stars, whatever, that are skewed more towards the caucasian look --- like ms. brosh.
