I am happy for Spain!! What was it? 24 years since they won the EC?
I didn't watch the final game, I watched the after-comment on Spanish television. Luis Aragonés likes a good play. He says, that most of the people like a good attack.. but he also likes a good defence. Italy had a good defence strategy. The game against Italy was so far the best one, but playing against Germany was the most exiting one, because of the final-game. When I saw Luis get threw in the air by the players, I thought he would get a heart-attack!
The youtube video of jeisandra, it was soo funny watching the players being soo damn happy! The commentator was very very drunk in the end !
Chelsea offered 62 million euro for Fernando Torres.. and that was before the final game.. so maybe he has more value now

I´m sooo happy that Spain won!! And I´m even happier for Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos! they play for Real Madrid and won this season league cup... and now this!

Bummer! - I only found this thread now! I'm STILL buzzing with excitement and cannot WAIT for my month in Spain at my parents-in-laws this summer!! I wish I was there now. I live in Germany and sooooooooo cannot celebrate (flags only for IN the house, strips too) because it was against them they won. Someone above said they had no idea there was that many Spaniards living in Germany. It's not Spaniards, it's Turks and Italians who were also rooting for Spain and prefer to see Spain win than Germany. Saw a Turk out yesterday with a t-shirt saying ESPAÑA on it. I can't believe I've been talking about this on football forums for weeks instead of on here. No-one else wants to talk about it any more At least here I could have celebrated Ramos, Torres and Casillas (on football forums yo ucan't really talk about that kind of talent! Iker en gayumbos!!! That video was CLASS. What a celebration. ¡¡¡VIVA ESPAÑA!!! ¡¡¡PUDISTEIS!!!


Oh and Tiffany, I'm kind of in the same position as you - have lived in Spain and now live in Germany, but my loyalties lie with Spain because my husband is Spanish and I have no bloodties with Germany. But I'm still not going to celebrate out loud, out of respect
