Amazing. I'm travelling across europe and I saw the match at a bar in Copenhaguen, full of people, drinking a rooting (mostly for germany). Some of us were rooting for spain..... and it was soooo good when they won.

First of all, congrats to Spain, the deserving European champion!! No other team has been as convincing in this tournament.

As for Germany:
I actually expected the team to play like it did against Portugal and they started so well - but I have no idea what happened after 15 minutes or so. A sudden loss of strength? A collective mental block? The players had proven before that they actually can play and fight but you didn't see much of that last night for most of the game. In the final, of all matches. I still can't believe it, even the set pieces were really really bad. Ugh, what a great match it could have been...

rofl at that video Lucky reporter to be getting soaked with Champagne while surrounded by excited hot Spanish players in their underwear They showed a clip of the Spanish Team being recieved back in Madrid, there were so many people there!!! I'm really glad they won, especially when you see that all the fans and players are SO happy and ecstatic
