euro2008

You see the numbers are really close and Portugal even had more chances which also speaks for the German team. And the final result of goals has more importance than the rest anyway. It was a nice game seriously and I'm really sad for you Filipe but didn't you say earlier that it doesn't matter who will win?

^^Ok I see that all u ppl dont understand football for sure .
No I didnt say that doenst matter who´s gonna win, I said that both teams could win the game

I don't know what your problem is I admit I'm not really into football but I think I can read that statistics.

Goals scored = Germany was better. Yellow Card doesn't really mean that the teams played good so I leave that out.

Shot's on goal? Portugal 6 times and 2 goals. Germany 5 times and 3 goals so what is better? And I know that a shot on goal is when it enters the goal.

Shots wide: Portugal ahs obvioulsy more which doesn't automatically stand for a good game.

Fouls: Germnay did more but being aggressive is not a bad thing at football.

Corners: Corners are a good chance to make a nice side-vault and a goal in the best case and Portugal had more chances to do so.

Yes they had the ball longer and more often than Germany but it matters what you do with your time not how long you run around with it.

Im just saying that according with the statistics Portugal played better than Germany, that´s it!!
If u can´t see it, I can do you anything.
Of course who scores more is the one who wins bt is a fact that Portugal played better.

Okay maybe you will be happy when we all agree that Portugal played so much better and is just amazing wow! But they can now be amazing at home in Portugal. Bye bye Portugal!

Sorry to say that but you are really annoying. IN MY OPINION Germany played very good although I was rooting for Portugal. Maybe that says something, uh?
Everyone can have own point of view.

Ok Miss Ania dont be mad with me, you know that I love you:rofl:

Still can't believe Germany won!! Now I totally hope they'll make it to the finals - a Holland - Germany final would totally be a dream (I'm Dutch). Can't wait for tomorrow's game either, it'll be interesting for sure. :D

Last wednesday, Russia against Sweden.. 2-0 what a game!! :o It could have been 5-0.. :innocent:
The Dutch team doesn't underestimate Russia. In fact, Guus Hiddink prepared this fresh young and eager Russian team for the WC. After the game against Spain, (Spain, their first outing 4-1 against Russia) people were saying that the Russians weren't ready yet.. it's too soon. Now the showed otherwise!
Edwin van der Sar (age 37) is one of the best goal-keepers that we have, I just hope he doesn't let any ball pass through. This saturday will be a very exciting game, and I will be watching it!

But Hiddink's goal was Euro 08 and not WC06...he said so himself that the team wasn't ready for WC06!!!

Anyway, it will be an interesting match tactically, Russia will pull a few surprises and might even score first, but I just can't see the Oranje stuffing this one up, especially with the added rest to key players, Russia just doesn't convince me they want this that bad...

Can't wait for Croatia/Turkey!!!! I wanna see Turkey go through though, although I do believe Croatia has the edge in this one...

a Germany-Holland final would be amazing... I'm not really interested in the croatia-turkey game, but I'm looking forward to the Holland-Russia game... ORANJE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Germany against Portugal was like World Cup 06 all over again!! But I think the team with better defense won, because Portugal just couldnt get through Germanys defence.

the statistics just show that germany was winning thoughout almost the whole game. ^_^ When you're loosing it's normal to try to have more control of the ball, try to shoot on goal... they were loosing after all, they were the ones who had to play. Germany did what they had to do, maybe at the end of the 1st half the defense was quite a chaos with Lahm leaving a lot of spaces, but they corrected that on the 2nd half.
Player of the game: Deco no doubt and I liked Schweinsteiger too.

Germany vs. Turkey would be such an amazing semi-final game
