agreed on the fanny pack, but it's kinda tricky to pull out...

sweatpants with LV????:yuk:

luckily I didn't see any in Rome (or in Siena for that matter)

Yeah, the fanny pack has to be used carefully, or it can easily result in a fashion disaster!

The sweatpants and LV fad is so weird, I can't imagine what people are thinking. I guess it's kinda Britney Spears inspired. Oh la la!

Yeah, but the weird thing is that it seems to be popular with these rich kids (or wannabe rich kids).

Thanks you guys for the warning of what NOT to wear, luckily I don't own any tennis shoes or sweat pants.

But, I guess what I'm interested in knowing is what is fashionable over there at the moment...it seems to me tights, skinny jeans, slouchy boots, the whole 'hipster' look I guess...

Yeah hipster style is definately fashionable in europe. And any kind of individual street style.

Does anyone have some pics of some cute summer fashions? I visited Europe in the HEAT of July and wish I had some pictures of the cute outfits I saw!

European street style

Does anyone have some pics of some cool summer fashions. I visited Europe in the HEAT of this summer and only wish I had pictures of the cute outfits I saw!

I'll be in Paris in July and all over England in August and will be able to see for myself, but before I go, I'd like to know what you think that the biggest difference between the street style of Europeans and Americans is. What are the more subtle give-aways that alert you to a person's nationality?

The American people that iv met and my American friends tend to wear clothes from one shop (eg H&M) and they wear everything from that same shop from their footwear to the rest of their outfit.but my european friends are more eclectic and mix and match their clothes that they buy from a variety of different shops like Department stores, vintage, charity shops and One off - Unique, hand made peices

^Yeah, I agree. It's not 'the oufit you see in the catallog'. Lot's of layers, cool bags and shoes and such. Maybe paying more attention to detail.

uhh im dying to see where my pictures are...some photographers asked to take pictures of my outfit during my arrival to the valentino show here in paris last sunday...i was dazed i forgot to ask where can i see my pics...does anyone have an idea?

no..i wasnt even expecting someone would take my pic..just threw on jeans n a jacket..but some photogs said they loved my bag n shoes..one said she loved my jacket...uhh i wana c meee lol

jajaja funny you mentioned guessing people's natinality by the way the dress. Last summer i was at a mall with some friends and we sat down for lunch and as we look around we started guessing who where foreigners and it was so funny because were right(we later walked by and heard the language they were speaking).

( italians wearing macro glasses including the guys, and look all very stylish, some other spanish guys where wearing polos with the collars-not sure if that is the word for what i mean- raised. It was so funny. But it was clear that europeans have a different style from americans.
