European Street Style (posting requires reading guidelines in post #1)

Here are some pictures from the Monaco Grad prix. Nothing spectacular. A lot of boobies but I suppose its because I'm getting the pictures from a men's site

Wasn't going to post these two random pics but seeing all these "Paris Hiltons" :yuk: made me want to post these

I love those...very pretty pictures:)

I wouldn't call those fashion victim pics from Barcelona "Street Style"....that's not at all what you see on the streets in Barcelona!! Maybe that's Barcelona "Desperate Wannabe Detects a Camera" style.

I didn't know where to post the paris hilton wannabes:unsure:

I think some of them look great while the others look very tacky. Although I've been to Barcelona and I personally don't find the pictures too different. Maye the extreme Paris Hilton ones aren't common in the streets but the others aren't too far from what I've seen in Barcelona.

God bless the required "pit babes" and "grid girls" galleries on all F1 and Moto GP sites. It evens out the pics of Norbert Haug.

but as it comes to finnish style. well what style? you relly can't find any real style from anywhere. it seems like everyone her wears H&M or Veromoda. or at least when you talk about people under 25. sad but true. it's hard to find those people that dress like pariens or something. boring i know. we have too many brands from sweden and the fashion comes so late in here. but hey we are coming. i have to try to take some pictures for you ppl from vaasa. maybe then you can see what i mean

Oh yeah, everybody is copy of each other. Don´t like it :( I´m so bored to see fake Burberry scarves and Longchamp bags. Blah. Maybe I could take some pics from Turku..

A comparison of "traditional street-styles" - on the one hand qualche ragazzi on the other hand three pix that show the genuine alpine chic  :

some alpine beauty - the one on the left, for sure!

no comment:yuk:

The first picture shows a typical italian street scene (Siena to be precise) - I like it, because the guys are great - each one of them trys to look best, even though they´re just wearin´ordinary jeans and shirts - that´s typical italian!

The three other pictures were taken in a different place, as you may already have noticed - That´s exactly, how "you" dress on the "Ausseer Kirtag" a traditional beer tent celebration event of the top class in the austrian salt chamber (that´s a beutiful region in the middle of Austria).
It´s a great mix of people there - clubbers meet farmers and everybody wears Knickerbockers and Dirndl (traditional costumes).

I hope that isn´t too OT.:D

thanks for the pics, cardoso! love the 'alpine chic' pics especially...I personally have always found traditional austrian dress to be lovely and it's fun to see young people putting their own 'twist' on it. ;)

Love the Alpine chic pictures:) I recently went to Dresden in the former East germany, and while not exactly Alpine I was amazed that I actually saw a lot of older men in lederhosen  .I thought that was as outdated as the Dutch actually wearing clogs....

oohh finnish street style pics, nice :D

here's some more.. not much though.

hey hey hey, don't be mean to my friends and me  . (I'm the girl whit mr.bean shirt)

Hey!!! Finnish people CAN be stylish!!
we are quietly stepping out of our closets, and making it work..
I have confidence in finns... Because i'm one..^_^

i'm not being mean :D calm down both of you. i'm finn too ;> but honestly as i said earlier, finns have this annoying habit to look same all the time. i don't mean it in a bad way, i'm just saying that we could be encouraged to dress more.. freely and add some personality. i know, i'm generalizing but i think that both of you can admit that most of the people look like those dolls in H&M or Veromoda :p there are some brave ones and those should be respected since they are able to dress just way they want to
