I was rooting for Eva since the beginning, and I'm glad she won. She's done alot of growing up since the start, so kudos to her.

Yaya was driving me nuts with how she thought she was all-that with her "education" and "respeito" blah blah! I'm glad she didn't win. I think she is beautiful, but there was nothing really "original" with her. To be honest, her skin was really bad. You could see acne on her forehead all the time. I'm really not sure how she wouldof fared on the runway. Last night's runway required quite some artistic makeup, and so it could cover up some marks easily. But what if she were modelling for Bill Blass, or Donna Karan, KWIM?

Amanda I agree had some fantastic photos- but to work with-which is ultimate-she seemed as dull as a door knob and uncomfortable in her skin in person (on the show)

That's not true! I don't know if were an avid viewer or not, but someone who sings and dances on set, around the other girls, laughing and joking, kissing the photographer, etc. isn't someone I'd call dull.

I'm sure certain people thought Amanda should have won, but she was so "typical". In America, beauty has a new face and it's exotic!

So are you saying you don't think Amanda is exotic?

Amanda really didn't do it for me either. She was very quiet but wow. Her cover girl shoot was amazing. She just lacked personality and warmth.

imo, amanda looked more like a model in her pics than the other two...every week her pic was among the best. i don't think they should judge the girls on their "personality and warmth" anyway, i mean how warm is someone like anne-catherine lacroix or anne v. or any runway model out there (excluding the giseles, heidis and cindy crawfords of the world)? most fashion models don't do commercials, and if they do, they don't talk. it seems like they should be judged on their versatility and ability to be a "fashion" model.

I think she looks like Annie Lennox. I think the contrast of her blue eyes is stunning. But if she can't see runways sometimes...

yes, we just have regular cable here (in Canada) and I saw it on CityTV toronto. Ivy you are in Montreal non? I'm surprised that they wouldn't show it there as it is such a large city.

Yeah, she's commercial and not high fashion... but give me a break, what's the chances of a reality show winner going into high fashion anyway? She's much better off hawking Covergirl than Chanel anyway, since there's usually more $$$ in makeup contracts. Here's to hoping she does well.

ever since the 1st episode aired, there was sumthin about eva that caught my attention. her dark skin with THOSE eyes...WOW! she has that "mini-tyra banks" thing going on, i think. as for amanda, i can see y most of u guys liked her so much, her pictures were great but....oh well. i guess they have their reasons 4 sticking with eva. and yaya....blahhhh.

Though I don't follow the show, I have gone through the ANTM topic. Eva is very pretty and her Covergirl shot is perfection, but Amanda with her ice blue eyes takes more striking pictures IMO. I don't see why Amanda is any more commercial than Eva.

I also liked Amanda as well, just cause she had a really unique look - her eyes had that sort of quality that made you stare at them (if only because of her vision problem) but I couldn't help but look at her.

There she is with Tyra Banks. She is 5'7", I know Kate Moss is that height, but on average, when you think runway model, don't you think taller... She is pretty, but definately not runway material, she isn't unique looking enough, she is like said earlier "commercial" there is nothing special about her.

If Amanda won I would have been very upset... She is not attractive at all, and bores the hell out of me. I do think personality means something because it helps if a photographer likes you

but yeah, they tried producing high fashion models for two seasons before this, and they failed miserably both times. Maybe america's next top model should be a commercial one and nothing more.
