- She just got back from NY and was meeting with agencies...she's thinking about maybe signing with Elite, but isn't sure yet.
- She has bookings in Italy and Cuba in the next couple of weeks, before she moves to NY full-time.

This may sound weird but her face is HUGE. Her features are really large and exaggerated. To me, she seems trapped between beauty and unattractiveness and she reminds me of Daniela Cicarelli. Anyways, she does seem really fun though!

Jakee, yes, I know and work with the vast majority of the girls you see "out there".
I'm always very interested in how people's views on models can be so different. When I saw Eva, my first impression was actually how tiny her features are. She's quite petite and elf-like. She reminds me of Daria but with the body of Irina L or Natalia V (when she was younger). Someone little like her.
She looks more like she fits in with the models like Daria, Diana Dondoe, Doutzen, Hilary Rhoda, Freja, - a very specific "look" that is beautiful yet unique and defined. A far cry from the Irina Ks and Gemma clones.

I'd forgotten I was a member of this forum. lol. I read this whole thread, and my quick reply to everything is....

Yes, the U.S. visa situation is a huge hurdle right now for models, and it has affected Eva's career. All of the top models are based in New York. They're sent to Europe at earlier stages of their careers but it seems they "graduate" to NYC. I have my fingers crossed for Eva to sort that out!

I've seen her in person and these last polaroids on the comp card from Giovanni models are an accurate representation of her. She has a mysterious way of appearing very angular in certain pictures, and soft in others, but in person she looks soft and "elflike" as Paul said (and I mean this in a good way - she's very versatile and chameleon-like).

She's working in Europe this summer and fall 07 will hopefully see her taking it to the next level in New York. A lot of this business is chance and luck; meeting the right person at the right time, whether that be a photographer, editor, booker, etc. I, of course, believe in Eva and I would do anything in my power to help her!

ha ha I agree. Her face is perfectly in proportion -which is nice considering how many bug faces with wide foreheads there are right now.

I saw her card today in a magazine's office (won't say which) but I hear she is doing pretty well in Paris at this moment.
