Why are people so into her? Her face is pretty mediocre, and she seems a bit trashy. She reminds me of a combo of Caitriona Balfe and Holly Marie Combs sick, but less attractive and interesting than the former.

The onlly thing I like is her eye color.

I beg to differ, I think Evie seems really sweet, wholesome and down to earth. She is also incredibly beautiful and is growing into her talents on Lost, her acting just keeps getting better and better. I think people like her because she seems like a good person. Her clothing style is developing (I'm not a fan of that hat either) but I think that is only natural for someone who is very new to the world of fame and celebrity. I don't think she has a stylist or any kind of wardrobe person helping her just yet. I think her style represents her personality which is very no fuss. I respect everyone's opinion but personally I think she's just great.

Download the episodes with iTunes or BitTorrent. Its hard to jump in midseason with a show like Lost since everything is so complex but its very very worth it to catch up on what's going on.

marqueemoon, everyone is welcome to have thier own opinion I do think that you posted the worst pictures of Evi you could find to state your point, I didn't like Evi's look on TRL, either. However, if that's the worst she can look, that's saying something in itself! She's one of the most beautiful natural beauties I've ever seen. And I think she comes off as very wholesome, but still incredibly fun at the same time.

The Elle photos are great. Except that some of them she is wearing so much makeup that she almost doesn't look like Evi.

Evi is such a natural beauty she doesn't need any make-up at all, but I also think she is at the same time someone who can pull off the heavy eye make-up without giving the appearence of it being just that - heavy eye make-up. I think it's a cool look that we haven't really seen on her before.

I think she still looks pretty with the makeup, but I totally agree with you that she is a natural beauty and does not need it. I prefer her natural look over her heavy makeup one altogether.

I have heard some not nice stories about her from people that "knew her when" but I haven't seen her do anything to make me not like her thus far and I think she's gorgeous and I think she has talent--the more important thing--so that's why I like her.

She was at the Emmy's or the Golden Globes this yr (can't remember which) and she was wearing a gorgeous green dress. I thought she was the best dressed woman there. However sometimes her outfits do leave a lot to be desired.

Just stories that she was a bit of a b*tch and a "rebel" when she was younger. Also that she didn't used to go by Evangeline. That was her middle name (that part I don't consider bad, just another thing I heard). I don't think being a rebel is bad, but who knows what qualifies as a b*tch these days.

Her first name is Nicole, btw.

I have heard A LOT of fan stories of people who have met her and could not stop gushing how nice she is. I have not heard a bad thing about her.

As you can tell, I am a HUGE Evi fan.

I agree with everything you said. Also, I don't think you can form an opinion of someone by how they may have used to act, or from hear-say of how they were when they were teenagers. All the stories I've heard from people who have met Evi now say the nicest, nicest things, and that's the only thing that's important.
