'Lost' Actress Slams Self-Centered Party Girls
Lost beauty Evangeline Lilly has blasted socialite Paris Hilton and her party girl pals for living a selfish existence. The Canadian actress tries to spend as much time away from Tinseltown as possible and prefers to spend her free time relaxing in Hawaii or doing charity work.

She says, "(I need to help people or I'd be) no better than the Paris Hiltons of the world, waltzing around with their Louis Vuitton bags and their little dogs. Those people couldn't give a rat's a*s if somebody was starving in the street next to them."

I like Evi, I hope her fans won't hate me for this... but sometimes I think she's too much with the constant talk of her looks in every interview but where she says something completely different each time or the pimping her charity work. I may be wrong to think this way but I think its bad when a celeb tries to say look at me I'm so good look what I do for the world. I'm not saying she has to do her charity work behind closed doors (cause drawing attention to causes is good) but she doesn't need to pat herself on the back for it and diss everybody else for not doing it. There's plenty of people out in the world who don't exactly go out of their way to maybe go to Africa but still are good people. This little pat herself on the back routine for being so beautiful and charitable is getting a bit old too me, but this is just my opinion I could very well be wrong... I'll shut up now...

The funniest/saddest part of Evi dissing Paris is that Paris just said on E! that Lost is her favorite TV shoe.

I don't think that Evi is trying to say that people who don't do charity work are bad people. I think she means that as a celebrity she wants to use her oppertunities to do good things instead of just being a media target.

I know what you mean vmob, I kinda feel the same way sometimes.
I really like Evi, but sometimes I do get a little annoyed when she keeps mentioning "her looks" in interviews

'm not sure which magazine it was.. i think it was Elle but she talked about how she would cry herself to sleep because men would always hit on her and how she wished to be ugly.
