Brussels - On the way to Rwanda, the actress of 30 years old spoke briefly about the life after Lost, her charity work and the future in the entertainment world.
So, you are going to Rwanda right now. What are you gonna do?
EL - I do volunteer work there. It is good to help others, do so much good for the soul and has the advantage that almost no one recognizes me there.
And you enjoy the anonymity?
EL- Yes, a lot. If it weren't for tourists or the others volunteers, I think no one would know that i was on Lost (laughs)
But that is changing. After all, you will be in the upcoming Hugh Jackman's movie...
EL - I try not to think about it.
Don't you like acting?
EL - Not quite. All this instant fame and pressure of the press is boring. I almost given up acting when the script of Real Stee came to me. It has its advantages and disadvantages, like any job.
How things go after the show?
EL - Go well, pretty well (laughs). It was quite an adventure the past six years.
How does it feel to end an epic series like Lost?
EL - It was weird. A mixture of joy and sorrow. Joy, because the work is over and we finally have a good and well deserved rest. Sorrow because it was six unforgettable years, with unforgettable people. It's awful remember that we're never will work together again, but nothing is impossible. Who knows? (Laughs)
About that, do you still have contact with the rest of the cast?
EL - Yes, I talk a lot with Brittany, Harold's (Perrineau) wife. We are very close friends. I always talk with Ian (Somerhalder), since we've known each other before Lost and Josh (Holloway). We talk every day, and if I don't call him, he calls me. I love talking to him, Josh is very funny.
