Eye Lash Growth

thanks but i dont like buying stuff online

well, that stinks for you then, because you can only buy them online. caster oil, you can find anywhere, though.

sephora sells talika, but only in select stores within the usa.

 yeah ill try castor oil first then...if everything fails im gonna buy the other stuff online...
thanks for ur help!

I have begun to try out Ardell's Lash Growth Accelerator. It has pretty favourable reviews on Makeup Alley so I ordered it online along with my stash of fake lashes :p

Maybe I should try to take some before and after pictures! Some claim to see a difference after a couple weeks but some say it takes as long as a few months. Only time will tell! I hate my sparse short lashes

Peter Thomas Roth has a new product out now for $125 with the eyelash growing ingredient. I am going to wait for reviews before ordering but I want it!

^^yeah the ardell lash accelerator works like a charm. The only thing is you HAVE to use it everyday for it to work. I used mine twice a day and after a week when I put my mascara on my lashes were long! Then after awhile I forgot to put it on and got lazy doing it and my lashes went back to its old short self sooo its worth a try. Its only around $4 at ULTA. I've had mine for a bit and it started to smell weird and turned like a beige color so I threw it away...Imma have to buy another one. This time I will try to use it religiously.

Fairy I hate buying stuff online too, especially skin care and make up!!
Suburban Snob Have you tried anything from Peter Thomas Roth at all? I've seen a few things that look ok from the range but the products never seem to move from the shelves of the only place that stocks them so I'm a bit

Earlier in this thread people were talking about lash primers and how important it is to use them....I've never heard of these...which ones are good? Talika is an accelerator not a primer right?

It can be used as a mascara base, but it is primarily an accelerator. I don't personally think it makes that much difference, it only seems to condition my lashes which isn't a bad thing but I was expecting length...you can buy it from Selfridges (the section just behind the Lancome counter) & Space NK in London though. Anyone heard of/used Revitalash? it's got good reviews on MUA but it costs something like $150

Yes, Talika is an accelerator.

Yes. I was a faithful user of his Sulfur mask until he went and changed the formula on me. It was really great. My best friend swears by his Buffing Beads.

In Eyelash news, I was just sent a product called Avance Lash Serum Ex from a dear friend in Singapore. I started using it last week so I can't really comment yet but it does dry quickly enough to put on right before bedtime (unlike Castor Oil) and my lashes DO feel more conditioned. I will update if they get longer.

Hey guys, I have a friend who had a botched eyelash extension and wants to know how to take them off without losing eyelashes! The salon are refusing to deal with her and the glue is so thick she can't close her eyes properly!
Thanks girls :)

I have fairly long lashes, and I use castor oil and a little vaseline on my eyelashes.

My question is, is there anything I can do to prevent what seems to be shedding? This happens in the winter, and I am trying to prevent eyelash loss:lol:

Don't wear ANY mascara for a month. Mascara makes your eyelashes brittle. You must care for your eye-region at this time. Make sure you get enough sleep, so your body can regenerate. Drink lots of water too.

I don't wear mascara almost ever, and it's definitely helped!

That's pretty rude of them. They could at least offer some advice on how to take off the lashes if they weren't willing to do it for her. I read that when you get eyelash extensions, you should not take off your makeup with an oil-based remover because it can break down the glue used to attach your lashes. Perhaps your friend could give that a try.

Has anyone here used the Talika Eyelash Conditioning Gel? If so, how was it?

Ok, anybody using talika, caster oil, revitalash or janmarini plz give me ur testimonial on these products?? Some ppl say they've got results from talika here on this thread..but ALOT of others say they see none. Is it eyelash growth that you're seeing or just .. thickening of the lash wen u put it on before mascara. I would think if u put ne oil on ur lashes or even vaseline before u apply mascara... surely it would look thicker b/c u've got loads of products stuck on ur lashes.

revitalash is soo expensive. I was thinking of getting them on ebay..but i hate paying for things im afraid just turn out to b fake. Plz let me know guys!!! My eyelashes are terribly thin...and they only get thinner.

Talika didn't help me at all. Castor oil did nothing either. I wish there was somthing that would make my eyelashes stronger/longer more beautiful :(

ok but i dont trust any websites.. aren't all the lash growth products now fda approved?

I like real feedback from real ppl. Websites can photoshop their pics and give fake testimonials.
