I like those single lash curlers rather than the whole eyelid ones..if you know what I mean.

re: individual lash curlers.. hve you tried the Laura mercier or Japonesque ones before? if so how would you rate them?

thanks :P

I agree with PradaP, I love love Shu's curler.... but then again, some of my friends don't like it, it's all about finding the one that fits your eyelash line up...

hmm than maybe I will stick with my MAC because it fits my eyelashes quite quite well. Prada, you would also be amazed at how much an eyelash curler makes a difference. Now, I can't live without my eyelash curler. I have long thick eyelashes but very straight so the eyelash curler does just the trick

I agree about the MAC curler & Shiseido. Both create a nice curl & don't pinch. I also think that Kevyn Aucoin's curler is also a nice investment as well. Doesn't pinch & curls are natural & full.

ive never gotten in the habit of using an eyelash curler but i have one exactly like the one pictured above.

I've been using the Shiseido one since high-school. It doesn't break my lashes and the effect is very natural.

I ahree with the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. I like those single lash curlers rather than the whole eyelid ones..if you know what I mean.

I've always wanted to try one of those. I've heard great things about Laura Mercier's and have been tempted to buy.

I have been using my Shu curler and love it, but I think the single lash curler would be good to better curl the outer lashes....

i have the shiseido curler and it works very well with my sick straight lashes. after pairing it wish mascara, my eyes are beautifully transformed. really makes all the difference.

does curling your lashes every day hurt them in the long run?

by the way, what is the difference between the shu uemura and the shiseido curlers?

I've been using my eyelash curlers from Boots (a british toiletry/drug store) for about 3 years and they've been wonderful.. they look exactly like the Shu Uemura ones but they probs differ slightly.

i love kevyn aucoin's eyelash curler

I found the answere in an earlier post :

" The shu uemura is rounder & has a deeper curve than the shiseido.
it just depends on your eye shape. but both are fab "
. :flower:

So to my question, which one of those would be good for wich eye shape ?

When do i chuck my eyelash curler out?
or how long do i replace the little strip thing?

thx heaps in advance! :flower:

ruby and millie eyelash curlers from boots....heat them up with ur hairdryer prior to curling ur eyelashes....et voila

Not to sound too cliche but what the hell a Shu uemura will become your best friend very quickly :flower:

I was thinking of trying the shu one, but I didn't want to shell out the money and then realize that it didn't have a good effect on my eyes. I got a $2-3 drugstore one as a test and tried it Friday night. I hated it! I tried really hard to start close to my eye and work out as a member described in another thread (to prevent crimping). The curl looked very odd and made my lashes look thin...and they're long and the normal thickness, not short or thin. I kind of figured that the shu one would have far better results, but now my eyelashes look sort of abused or something and the ends look odd. I'm afraid that I've damaged them and I don't know how to fix them. No more devil-curlers for me.

Does this kind of thing happen with expensive/nice curlers?
