Eyelash Curlers

yes Shu eyelash curler is worth buying!!! i just changed to a new one last month...
would love to try Kevyn Aucoin.......damn they dont ship overseas....ahhhhhhhh

I alternate between Shu and Japonesque's Heated Eyelash Curler. I have long lashes, slightly curled, but not curled enough for my taste and don't hold a curl well. And I refuse to wear waterproof mascara. LOL. Either way, those two work very well for me. Plus my oh so favourite YSL mascara. :)

is it the faux lashes by ysl? I just bought some MAC mascara (zoom lash), but can't decide if I like it or not. What is the difference between the Shu and Kevyn curlers?

try heating it with a hairdreyer fist adn always use it before mascara.

I would try an eyelash perm I got one t realy works and is much easier and less damaging

Muji do fantastic eyelash curlers .. I wouldn't have expected so as they're not makeup/beauty orientated.. but decided to try them out anyways.

Repeat after me, Shu Uemura curler

It's the best eyelash curler out there, it's worth investing on the extra bucks, the results are way better, and it's one of the curlers out there that wont bend, break or pull your eyelashes

I use the maybelline eyelash curler and everytime i use it my eyelashes start to fall out right after moments..it pisses me off  I just thought all eyelash curlers are the same

I swear by my Shu Uemura. I have the finest, blonde lashes and they perk 'em up beautifully! Then with a coat of Estee Lauder Lash XL, I might as well have fakes on.

Whenever I've used eyelash curlers, it hasn't made a difference compared to just mascara alone.

Is his because I was just using really cheap rubbish ones? Are there any tricks? I have long eyelashes and want to make the most of them

An eyelash perm... sounds like maybe my best bet. Can that be done at just your basic salon? How much does it cost? How long does it last? So many questions, but you've piqued my interest :)

I love the way using an eyelash curler gives a very open, wide eyed look. I bought one of those drugstore curlers- and well , they didnt look the way they do in the magazines..... . I want to invest in a good eyelash curler, but im on a budget (as im young, on my own, and almost broke, lol)

Question; whats the different b/w drugstore eyelash curlers and higher-end curlers mentioned here?

And while im on the topic of eyelashes, is there anytype of conditioner or something i could put on them to make them longer and thicker- keep in mind i want to MAKE them longer and thicker, NOT JUST LOOK longer and thicker....

any help would be MUCH appreciated-thanx!!!!! :flower:

That's what iv been wondering!

I have VERY short thin eyelashes..so wen i curl them with a drugstore eyelash curler they bend and fall out..but they do curl. so what is the difference?

just wondering, for the shu, shi, or KA eyelash curlers, what eyeshapes are best suited for those brands? like small eyes for the shi one or something? thanks :flower:

sorry if that didnt make sense, but the shape (or curve) of your curler should match the shape of your eye, so different curlers will work best for different people. and i was wondering which eyelash curlers will work best for what certain eye shape?

Ok, i don't know what you are saying, but Shu Uemura is by far the best!!!

Actually... it's funny, but I own a Shu Uemura, and RARELY use it. My Revlon curler is better for me... always get the best results with that one... :innocent: Gues it just depends.

^ Same here. After hearing about the Shu curler I went to buy this ' god's gift to women '.
Surprisingly, didn't make any diffrence on me. So I am yet to find a good curler. I think I'm going to try either Revlon or MAC.
I heard MAC is one really good curler as well :)

i have the kevyn aucoin one, it has a red rubber thing and it doesnt have as much "give" as the shu uemura ones. It curls your lashes in half the time as the s/u one. i love the kevyn aucoin lash curler.

Golden, definately try the MAC. I had a MAC curler and decided to give it up (and gave it away) to try the Shu curler. It does about the same. I have very long lashes which are fairly straight and quite thick as well and the shu does the job (the pro is that shu curls lashes pretty much straight from wet which my mac couldn't do) however...

does anyone else have issues with the rubber pad constantly coming out of their shu curler? Basically ever since I've had it everytime I do a curl, the rubber pad comes out and i have to push it back in! V. annoying!
