Just to try and shed some light on the Burberry casting....Christopher Bailey's taking Lily D and Rosie HW to the Met ball in NY on Monday so I'm guessing they'll be in the FW campaign. No one was sure if Rosie was going to be in he Prorsum campaign but I'm guessing this says she probably is...?? WWD are saying she's 'rumoured' to be the new face of the brand.

Is being British the only criterion that matters to Bailey? I mean why would he pick Rosie, of all people, otherwise? She's a pretty girl but she only strikes me as a lingerie model... I'm not familiar with her work though, so she may be more versatile than I think she is...

Yeah! I totally disagree with this, Burberry is such a great brand! And Gemma's S/S 06 campaign is my favorite Burberry campaign! They could give someone else a chance, though I do like to see Lily D doing it

Adriana Lima started her career as a high fashion model, and eventhough she's great at what she does now, I wouldn't cast her for Burberry

Most people just think of Rosie's VS work because that's what she's mostly famous for but I think she could turn out a good Burberry campaign based on her recent editorial work, (I admit I'm biased, she's my fave model!) even though she's had little HF experience in the last couple of years. Seems changing agencies this year to Models 1 has done wonders for her....

I actually think she can pull it of too. I tihnk people may be a bit concerned because for the majority of her career she's done more commercial stuff but I still think she's versataile enough to do the Burberry campaign.

Chanel or the "likes"


She did Valentino once..but other than that mostly non-high fashion designers.

Gemma has British origins. LOL...her dad is English instead of Australian.

I hate how Burberry always uses British girls, it irks me. I do not see it as an international campaign at all. All the campaigns are just ugly with all those weird-looking males. ( i do not see the trend in their hair styles, very outdated n uglycry:

the last few Burberry campaigns are just negligible, especially last season's. In comparison, campaigns of Valentino and Prada are just brilliant.
