Someone mentioned in Querelle Jansen's thread that she was doing something for JPG. Maybe the fall campaign?

^i have no idea if she's also doing burberry, but the picture they used is from a US vogue shoot with testino and grace coddington. so i suppose burberry is still possible, but not based on that story i guess.

Yeah, I saw the kate moss - burberry article in the papers today

fashion_paranoid, thanks for posting that additional image from the D&G pre-fall campaign. However, please note that citing another thread on tFS does not constitute as a proper image source. Instead, please find the original source for that image and post in a response to this post. Thanks! :flower:

If Kate's for burberry then what's this all about? Source Metro.co.UK

'Over-exposed' Agyness dropped

Agyness Deyn is too 'over-exposed', say sources

The reason why Agyness Deyn was dropped as the face of Burberry can now be revealed.
An insider at the fashion house told me that celebrity snapper Mario Testino – described as the company's advertising visionary – is fed up with the hype surrounding the elfin model who aimed to topple Kate Moss as the queen of British fashion.
Asked why Agy had been dropped less than a year after pinching the role from her rival, the checked-cap mole told me: 'She was just a flash in the pan. Last year she was quirky but now she is challenging Moss in the fame stakes by positioning herself everywhere. That kind of popularity just hasn't sat well with Mario, who is looking for something different'.

Deyn, real name Laura Hollins, has long played the fame game.
She is a regular on the celebrity circuit and has made several high-profile showbiz appearances, including presenting a prize at the NME music awards and collecting the model of the year gong at the Elle style awards.
She has also just made a pop music video.
But the 26-year-old's attempts to eclipse Moss in the popularity stakes seem to have backfired – as well as losing the Burberry contract she also failed to make a list of the top ten richest models, in which Moss came third.
To make matters worse, it seems Testino is not just looking for a new face – he wants a younger one, too.
The snapper – famed for his photos of Princess Diana – is thought to want to replace Deyn with 21-year-old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The Devon beauty, a D&G underwear model, has reportedly already been booked to front Burberry's autumn campaign.

If Burberry really dropped Laura Hollins because she's over-exposed in favor of Kate Moss, that would be the funniest and most ironic thing ever. Because, um... like, if Laura is over-exposed, what does that make Kate?

^Well that article states that she is to be replaced with Rosie...which we heard before...conflicting sources?

Well Rosie is a lot less over-exposed than Agyness...but Agyness=Burberry to me.

As for the Querelle for JPG rumours, it looks like we could have some news (finally) about it. I kinda figured she would be involved with it, as she is in the JPG stable...

that is a slap in the face for aggy. i wonder if she will keep her contract with the beat fragrance? cause that was shot by nick knight wasn't it and not testino, i think.

i've heard of this huntington-whiteley person, but i don't think i have the slightest idea of what she looks like. i DO NOT want to see kate moss in burberry!

the beat was by sims i think :flower:
and rosie h-w does a lot of commerical vs and stuff, but it'll be interesting to see what she does for burberry, though imo the last good burberry ads were ss06 with gemma.
