It seems Rosie might be the only model doing Burberry.....

The future is looking Rosie for Burberry

Only a month after I disclosed that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had signed to the prestigious Models1 agency, I learn the bewitching beauty has landed the most lucrative contract in the fashion world - as the new face of Burberry.

The British label - which has featured Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn - has, I hear, decided to ditch its group images for its Autumn/ Winter 2008 collection in favour of using 21-year-old Rosie on her own.

Details are to be released next month, but I am told: "Rosie looks stunning in the pictures. It is a huge deal for her to have become a Burberry girl and from here she is going to sky-rocket."

Rosie's boyfriend, art dealer Tyrone Wood - son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie - will be delighted at the move, because it means Rosie, who was based in New York, will spend more time in England.

A Burberry spokesman says: "We can't release any information on our global campaign until the launch in June."

so, the Burberry ad is going to be OG? this will really make Rosie's career.

I'll be interested to see if she books any runways in September or any other campaigns for next year after this, considering she's never really been paid much attention to until now.

Check out Gwyneth Paltrow’s new ad campaign for Italian label Tod’s for their autumn/winter 2008-9 collection.

According to UK’s Vogue, Mario Testino photographed the campaign in Capri last month. The 36-year-old actress is said to evoke a “uber luxurious, outdoors-y life of a beautiful Italian aristocrat from the heady days of the jet-set era.”

“Gwyneth effortlessly embodies the spirit of the all American woman with timeless elegance and modern flair - the perfect representation of the Tod’s woman,” says creative director Derek Lam. “And, of course, beyond her impeccable style, she is an artist whose body of work I greatly admire.”

And apparently, Gwyn has a film short for Tod’s premiering in Cannes!

it seems Behati for Victoria's Secret... Good for her but imo very unexpected.

May 23, 2008 -- BEHATI Prinsloo , 19, who hails from Namibia, is being groomed to be "the next Gisele Bundchen" at Victoria's Secret (which Bundchen left last year). The 5-foot-10 stunner - discovered three years ago while on holiday in Cape Town, South Africa - was just signed as the face (or body) of the Victoria's Secret Pink line. We're told the lingerie company "sees her as the next big spokesmodel" for the entire brand. Watch out, Heidi Klum!
