Hello,

I am looking for some advice/feedback from people who have used fashion distribution agencies in the UK or abroad.

I run a fashion label and have a new collection coming out soon. The last collection I approached stockists and secured a few. However, I've been advised to work with a distribution agency.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Cheers ;)

Hmmm ... do you mean a "showroom", where they carry your line and buyers (usually from small boutiques) come to review the various wholesale lines that they carry and place orders with the sales rep? Or is a "distribution agency" something else?

I work for a distribution agency.. i might not be able to help you with all of your questions as I am only in an entry level role but i may be able to give you a general idea of the service that we perform for a client?

google online boutiques and sent a proposal for join partnership.they advertise ur line and get a commission on products sold.as an alternative, u may need the services of a manager to help you make necessary contacts.most companys respond better to agents/managers that dealing directly with you.seems to be the current trend.good luck.
