It's like any job interview, I would guess. Be prepared to talk about any related experience you have that might help ... even other jobs you have held. Since it's in costuming, if you have any experience with sewing, that will be something to highlight because you will be able to repair costumes.
Try to convey to them that, although you don't have any direct experience, you are a fast learner, take direction well and don't mind doing the grunt work ... carting around heavy costumes, steaming and ironing the wardrobe, organizing stuff, packing it away, etc. Make sure that they see you as a good team player with a positive attitude. That way they will enjoy having you around.
