thank you, bonchic and droogist ! i actually had a very dark and haunting inspiration for the shoot which really came out in the mood...
"there was once a beautiful bird with a tail of feathers containing every color imaginable. this bird was admired and envied by every beast and creature who roamed the earth. unfortunately, this bird was far too aware of its marvelous beauty and was caught by god gazing selfishly upon itself in the pond. as punishment, god stripped all the colors from the bird's back. the newly black bird, ashamed, fled to the forest in self-exile...."
we were eaten ALIVE by mosquitos on this shoot... i feel most sorry for the model who got it the worst... i was spraying bug spray and rubbing ointment on her every five minutes but it didn't help much the shoot came out so well though, i suppose it was worth it
she's a new face..."katy" from belarus. she's with ACTmodels in Tokyo... she was really really good... with most new faces you have to really pull teeth to get a good "look" out of them, you know? with her, we had to tell her.."ok, so we know you can pose, but we'll tell you what you need to do now..."

I love when you can tell models that. Or the best is when it's like "I wonder what shape we should have her body in right now" and her head is just off in the distance and she doesn something radically hot and you're like "STOP, stay just like that!"
and below is one i did for a model's portfolio...we had two looks, but i really only like this one...
i'm pretty new at this photoshoot thing, but i've had so much fun so far and its wonderful to be able to create images~ it's especially nice when people actually like what you do
oh, and as for katy... just these two from her agency...she said i really put her out of her comfort zone in those clothes, but she also said it was fun so that's a relief
