Victoria by Victoria Beckham and L'Wren Scott shows canceled

Fans of Victoria Beckham's contemporary line - Victoria, Victoria Beckham - who are logging on excitedly to see pictures of the new collection will be disappointed, as images of the pieces were not released this morning as scheduled.
Usually presented to press and buyers the day after her mainline offering - which debuted on Sunday - the collection will not be shown this Fashion Week. Beckham and her team are still working on the creative around the range, which won't be ready for a couple of weeks.

Beckham isn't the only designer beset by delays of one kind or another, L'Wren Scott has also cancelled her show - set to take place this Sunday in London - due to production delays in key show and couture pieces, WWD reports. Instead, the designer will unveil her autumn/winter collection via social media before meeting retailers and editors in her Paris showroom in March.

Is Gianfranco Ferré closing?
The Gianfranco Ferré brand will close, but it will still keep the already existing licenses.
A sad news in the fashion world. The brand Gianfranco Ferré, that has been founded in 1978 by the famous designer of the same name, who died in 2007, and today it is owned by Dubai-based Paris Group, will close.
Paris Group announced it to the trade unions, adding that it will only keep the already existing licenses.
“The company officially told us that it wants to completely disinvest in Italy, that the business has closed as far as they are concerned, and that they will only keep the long-term already existing licenses” said Roberto Guarinoni of Filctem - CGIL secretary of Bologna.
“We do not consider them as partners for a possible salvation. They told us that they could even consider the possibility to sell the brand in the future, but the necessary conditions to do so are lacking today”.
