It looks like it has some blue in it, i though it was a darker green, or is that just the light?

He is a friend, vintage.....the Ebay policy states the seller cannot "contact a potential buyer with an offer to purchase off Ebay". He did not and does not do that.

I just left the fendi boutique. For those of you who don't already have these stats, I thought I would share them with you.

Gold python Spy ~ Only 13 were made
Brown Crocodile ~ Only 8 were made
Green Spy ~ Only 16 were made!
Bone Spy ~ Only 81 were made
Cognac Spy ~ Only 92 were made
Black Spy ~ ???

These are WORLDWIDE stats!!!

I didn't think to ask about the pleated spy bags, sorry.

I don't think those stats are correct. How could so many stores around the world be putting people on waitlists for bags when under a 100 were made? They would all go straight to VIPs in that case.

sounds fishy to me, especially since my SA told me you can order any one you like. maybe he/she meant that those numbers represent the number of bags stores other than Fendi boutiques are getting? that might make more sense.

those pics pretty acurately depict the green color. not quite what I expected -- the bag in the spy catalog looks more like a dark forest green. I wonder if the bags ordered specially from the boutiques look different from the ones the department stores and eluxury are getting.

When the SA told me the stats I also thought it sounded low. I asked specifically if this was worldwide, the SA showed me in the book...Although we all know how the hype of EVERY bag begins.

I had been on the waitlist for both the croc and the gold python. I picked up the gold python today, and I asked again about the stats. I guess it doesn't matter how many are available, but whether we will love them for years to come. The gold is HUGE, but I can't wait to get it out...
