The texture and color of the petrol is beautiful Not that I dont love the paddington, but I definaltey love the spy more. You might get biased desitions here though since it is the spy thread, so maybe post in both threads and see which is more popular overall?

Or try the "This VS. That bag" thread.

I'd stick with the spy though....

i have now ditched the paddy, and am deciding between this camel color (which i believe is the new "rust" for spring/summer) and the petrol.

i've been very bad today- made 2 trips to the fendi store in 1 day.

one needs to go back. please help!

thanks for all the input! gosh, i'm shocked at how strongly in favor you all are for the petrol. i was leaning toward the rust initially, but you all are convincing me otherwise. is this just an unexplainable, or is it something about the spy looking better in a vibrant/hybrid color?

do you think the petrol would be as good a color year-round as the rust? and while deep blue/green is really of the moment, do you feel that it's a color that might look random in another season? i think midnight shades are still current next fall and winter, but not sure after that...those of you with vibrant balenciaga's would know-- i don't own any.

Definately an all year round colour.
To be honest I think the rust looks weird and I don't think it would go with much. Believe me you'll regret it If you don't keep the petrol, it's so divine looking!

I've arrived late to the party but my vote goes for petrol as well. It's beautiful plus I'm not sure if they'll be making anymore whereas the cognac is a permanent colour so if you are really hankering after something browny you can always get that later. Hope this makes sense

the rust is a bit too pale to be a nice,wearable shade of brown bag. does that make sense?

I have really VERY low resistance to purse...
