The whole look of that bag is all wrong too.

Here is a spy on ebay that looks authentic at a low price. Its used and some parts are wearing but for the price its good.

Do you think the bag with striations is laser cut like the hologram Spys?

from the close up photo, it doens't look like it. i owned the hologram for about 24 hours and can already tell that the cherry one does not have the laser cut pleats the way the hologram one did. these look like actual pleats on the bag. i wonder if the pleating will make it thicker/harder.

I agree. It looks more like "couduroy" leather. I wish they have the taupe one in this skin. Don't like wisteria.

i kind of like the taupe one too (they call it grey on their website) but i don't like the flowers so i am not going to bother with it. i have never seen corduroy leather before so i'd be interested in seeing and touching this bag IRL. hah hah i hope they will have some good spIES to look at during the fendi trunk show coming up at my local NM.

i think so too....but for some reason i am attracted to it, just like i was to the grey bfendi (what a nightmare that was! hah hah). in fact, it's the same grey leather minus the finish on the grey bfendi. at least the grey can't scratch up easily - it won't be as visilbe as they are on the darker color spies.

anyway, the grey spy is just eye candy for me. no more.
