what turquoise? I'm not aware of any turquoise. there's just the green which some (including me) have described as a bit bluish.

the green and the turquoise are one and the same. It's just the way the green hits the light. There's no turquoise.

What issue of Marie Claire is this? I was at Fendi yesterday and I heard of no turquoise. They told me that the best way to describe the green was an deep ocean blue. A green with a hint of blue so maybe that's what you saw?

There's only 4 left in my state, 3 camel and 1 chocolate brown, and they refused to ship to the other states that are calling for them.

i believe it's this month. maybe its a color that's not out yet? it's a bright turquoise. not even close to green.

Maybe it is for next season. I don't really trust what the SA's at my local boutique have to say. They are pretty clueless about the products that are not in their catalogue. They all just refer me to their catalogue and I finally got tired of trying to explain the pleated bag to them so I took pictures in with me. The first time any of them in there have heard of the pleated version was last night.

hmmm. I saw the Marie Claire, too, and it looked exactly like another photo I saw of a badly-lit green. I have a friend who bought the green, and that's what they told her, too. That there's just green, although it does have a lot of blue in it.

this is the best I can do. It's small. In the bigger one, you can imagine how this could conceivably been the green. Similarly, there was a balenciaga on browns website that looked totally, olive, which was in fact the Kermit apple green.

There is definitely no turquoise coming out this year. When I was ordering my spy python, the manager of the NY boutique showed me all the pictures and the catalog and she knows more about the Spy bags than any other Fendi SA I've spoken to. And yes, there are TWO browns - cognac is medium brown and there is a darker brown shade.

After seeing two green spys in NY I am so tempted to get one. I'm expecting my python any day now but I can't seem to get the green out of my mind. It is so beautiful up close, and I also like how the handles are of a slighly different green shade with the actual green body of the bag. The contrast is really nice and it's what makes the bag look so rich.

That's the green. It's not turquoise. That's how the bag looks in person. Lovely!!

^^^^ It's the lighting in the picture. The first green I saw in NY was during the day. Looks like the one in the picture. In person the bag isn't as forest green looking as in the catalog/Mischa picture. It is brighter and richer in person under the sunlight.

It does look like turquoise, but I'm pretty sure it's green as well. That page was printed with too much blue ink. If you look at the pictures leshent gave pucci_mama, you can see the blue in it. I've seen all the colors EXCEPT green. If I had known it wasn't that dark green we all thought i was earlier, I would've reserved the only green my boutique got.

Anyone know anything about the fall bags? I've been loving the pleated but I took another look at the camel last night and I'm falling in love with the color. I was so disappointed by the dullness of the darker colors. *sigh* There's still awhile to go to save up 2 grand. I just love the design of the bag and the hidden compartments so I would be perfectly happy with a fabric bag (and hopefully they'll be cheaper).
