I didnt understand ....there is a pouch infront of the old version and the new one doesnt have one?

I agree with meow, this is probably a different version of the spy.

Dulcisima, the original spy version is like the one that Jess Ruthie has - it has a pouch on top.
The one that Rachel Bilson is carrying is a different version in the Spy series, called the small satchel on NM.com

But when i called up Fendi and asked them about the sizes...they said the only had one size and thats the regular one...

The Fendi boutique was probably referring to the medium size one , which technically speaking, is the only bag called the Spy.

Fendi also made another series of bags using similiar pleated leather for the clutches and now, this small satchel also has the same braided handles and is made from the same type of leather as the Spy.

It was darker than the Chloe bag that I saw in the store....but the shade and darkness of blue varies throughout the Spy bag. It's darker on the handles where it's woven. on the woven side seams and where it has the "turtle" texture.

Did I mention I LOVE THIS BAG?!? I had three people stop me on the street today after work....it's a great color because it doesn't scream out at you and goes with everything.

I prefer the regular version..the regular version has the spy mark on it...the smaller version is cute and all...but nuttin special about it

OMGod this is soo funny...just as i posted how i prefer the regular version than the smaller version my friend who is at Florida was telling me about a new spy fendi that she just bought and its blue!! i asked her how much she got it for and she said its for 1300 US dollars...and they have two more left...if anyone is interested in the small one its at Florida oh and they have the one bagqueen posted picture i forgot its name but its very similar to the colour my friend described..

I just spoke to SA at Fendi NY and she said prices on teal medium is $2250.00 and won't be getting it until mid september. I thought it was already out in stores also did prices go up?

Are you sure...The one at Beverly Hills said to me it was for 2080 US dollars...and the list is not long at all she said they only had like 10 ppl on the list...She said ppl mainly put there name for the cognac..Chloegal try the beverly hills one the SA is soo nice and friendly..

Green Spy

I haven't seen a lot of mention of the dark green spy bag. Has anyone seen it and do you like it? Also is this bag a shoulder bag? There must be more than one size because I seen it worn as a shoulder bag but the handles in many photos don't look long enough. ALSO, are there a lot of fakes on eBay? They have a lot of Fendi's going for several hundred $$ right now and I don't have enough experience with auctions to know. They are swearing they are authentic and they look authentic to me. Help help. Thanks.

almost all of the fendi spy's on ebay are fakes. the handles on the medium/regular size are long enough for shoulder use... the large is just... too huge.. almost luggage.

Mona, if you have your heart set on getting an authentic Spy, I'm afraid Ebay is the last place you should be looking at.

The dark green spy is difficult to find now at this point, but try calling all the stores as well as the ones overseas.
