Really? I think the opposite. My old cognac was very distressed and some spots were little lighter. Especially in sunlight. THis looks real to me. I just got my teal and the leather is very distressed.. like the picture and the inside tag looks the same as mine. the fake ones i've seen.. the leather looked bumpy and not smooth.

YES.. I got my teal. It's gorgeous and love love the leather. It's smooth and soft. I think you will be very pleased. It's pretty big but not huge. It can definetely fit alot. I worried that the color would be too blue since I wear jeans alot.. but I must say.. the color is awesome.

. Also do you know how much this particular style retails for in the UK?
I really want a light coloured bag but don't know whether to get the spy in white or to get a balenciaga in ivory. Decisions! Many Thanks for any advice

I am not an expert in identifying the fake bags in ebay, especially fendi will let the experts help you out in that department..As for the colour, i remeber a couple of pages bag someone was saying that the white leather goes yellow over a period of time and the fendi white spy bag with the red handle was lying on a shop window and it turned yellow...if u flip back a couple of pages u will see that comment..i dont recall the exact words , but thats a sum up of what the TFS memebers said..As for the price i know it retails 979 GBP without VAT..i dont know how much would it be worth with VAT, but i am assuming over 1000GBP..if u want one, may i suggest you put ur name on the waiting list at the store, and u do have to pay a deposit..
If it was me, between the white fendi and the ivory balenciaga..i would go for the balenciaga..and then again its ur call best of luck hope this helps

Oh well - Harvey Nicks in Edinburgh should be geting a few in soon and I'll take a look then. The one I really want though is the sequinned spy - the one on ebay is fantastic - a little beyond my price range though. I love the Balenciaga as well but I have a chocolate brown city and wanted to branch out

ALL the SA's i spoke to from different fendi boutiques described it as a more teal blue...I have never heard them use the term petrol at all...funny when u say petrol i imagine a ditry bag! lol

I know, petrol makes me think of a dirty bag too.

cinderbellas.. the teal is like navy blue. It doesn't have any green tone at all. It's really rich dark blue. Truely a beautiful color . Petrol is same as teal. That's what some stores call it. I have no idea why but they do I found this one in ebay. It's so gorgeous.

congrats chloegal! i just put my name down on the wait list for this one...been dying for a color spy since my black one just doesn't do anything for me...

would you consider this a timeless color and is it lighter during the day? i read somewhere that this color looks different in the dark, almost black... was hoping to see a "little" green in it... thanks

The Blue one...I am not a great fan of the boutique over there..They told me first that DEFINTELY they are getting it at the end of the August..so i blew off my chance to get it from LA and stuck with London..and i paid in advance to secure me a bag from the london boutique...now they are telling me end of the month , early october...thats silly!! I understand delays up to two-three weeks but its a month and a half...

Oh really? I had no idea.

That really sucks, I just phoned them today and they said that there is now a waiting list for it.

Just the other day the woman was telling me that they would get some in early September...now I have to get on the list!?

Please see the bag in person before you decide. It looked good in photos but I really didn't like the sheen of the white part of the leather in real life. Something about the sheen made it less luxurious looking. It is also the type of leather that gets dirty easily. The SA kept saying it's easy to clean etc but I wouldn't buy a bag that I had to clean religiously.

Thanks!!!!!! Actually, I was just calling on a whim before I bought one on ebay (there are two authentic ones right now, including one from leshent) and they had TWO. They held both and I ran over and chose the one with more texture. But the other was very nice, too. Barney's in BH. If anyone's interested. I absolutely love it! it reminds me of gigi's.

Our store is only left with one Petrol. I was told that the person who is holding onto the bag is letting go.

I have 3 days to think if I want the bag. Part of me wants the bag, but part of me wonders why they didn't give to the first person on the waitlist, but they are willing to offer it to me, who just popped in the store just now to enquire. Lucky?

Maybe the person is delaying the pay...I know it has happened to me once...i walked into a gucci store wanting to ask about the bag...they said they have one on hold...after 5 days i come in again and the said its still in hold but if i am willing to buy it i can have it...so i bought it...the SA explained to me that the customer has been delaying the payment and many ppl have been asking about the bag, so they might as well sell it...

Go Grab it! U lucky thing I know that they are having only 2-3 blue fendi batches each store...thats what i was told at Fendi boutique...London is receiving their first and only batch in blue..
