Fernanda Tavares

What's the story with Fernanda Tavares? She was just in the VS show, she is still the NINE WEST girl, but aside from a couple of editorials in American ELLE this past year, I haven't seen much of her. And she's disappeared from the runways! She is really gorgeous - fabulously, classically beautiful in a singular and striking way . Did being in the SI swimsuit issue a couple of years ago turn her into a fashion outcast? Is SI is the kiss of death for any serious model, as some suggest? Did it do-in Elsa Benitez? And why hasn't being in SI hurt Isabeli Fontana, who's still going strong?
