^I think he's naturally dark haired, because as a blonde his roots were often dark (but I could be wrong, and besides I suspect he was blonde as a kid)

He was blonde as a kid, there is a picture of him as a baby and a clip of him at age 12 playing for Atleti against an AC Milan kids' team where you can see. I think it darkened when he got older.

Also, slightly OT but those pics above make me think Xabi Alonso deserves his own thread, he's always the sharpest-dressed person in the entire team.
