looking forward to Festival d'Hyeres 20th aniversary session, much more with Alaia & Hardy exhibiting
wish i could afford the trip

Azzedine Alaia will help mark the 20th anniversary of the Hyeres fashion festival with an exhibit of his work. The Paris-based designer will feature 20 of his creations in an installation on the sidelines of the young designer competition, which takes place in the South of France April 29 to May 2. Shoe designer Pierre Hardy will also exhibit in a separate space. Karl Lagerfeld is among the designers who have already shown at the annual gathering.

Hyeres is a seaside city in south of France,
the Festival d' Hyeres is probably the best new designers/photographers
annual competition in Europe
this season, apart from Alaia and Hardy, Charles Anastase will also have
an installation presentation

I love the Hyères Festival...it always introduces me to beautiful, new things, more subjects of research :>
Diane Pernet announced some of the winners on her blog, although who won isn't as interesting to me as looking through all the talented people.

In any case, here is what I could find:
