What a wonderful thread this is
I thought it might be nice to show some of my own flamboyant shoes. They're from my more outreageous period and I don't wear them much at the moment. I love the silver ones, there is hardly any room for my toes, but they are very elegant (I think) even though the platform is a bit chunky. The 'chinese' ones are lovely too, but you can only wear them barefoot. The lining is a kind of silky material that is very very slippery when you're in socks or stockings and the shoe keeps sliding from your foot then (cramped toes
). The purple ones......well, the ARE flamboyant
but I have no clue why I even bought them. The platform is way too high, not elegant at all, and the fact that your foot virtually makes no curve at all makes it very difficult to walk in them.
