Glorious. She looks amazing in gold.
She needs to wear less Gucci more McQueen.

love the mcqueen on her

i ordered the actual cd of her new album the other day and i think it's on its way to me...
super excited :woot:

Agree with you 100% on this. I never understood the Gucci collaboration. She's such a McQueen woman - a contrast of delicate, shy, complex, bold, beautiful, dark, violent gloriousness

ahem. Fan girl moment over.

have any of you read any of the reviews? for the most part, the word repetitive keeps popping up and i'm a little dumbfounded by that because if each song were radically different from the other they would deem it as lacking in cohesion.

btw, favourite song--bedroom hymns. i wished that it was part of the official album but alas....happy enough that it was included on the deluxe version. it's a gem. love the landscape demo as well.

I bought the Ceremonials Deluxe edition today and I'm absolutely in awe of the music on it. It's wonderful.

Does anyone if Florence is Christian? Because there are a lot of Christian overtones in her music.

god the poor girl is going to be exhausted. she just doesn't seem to stop. and she's supposed to be in the states this weekend performing on SNL.

squiz, not sure how much an impact her own belief system had on the making of the album,if just from the gospel aspects she drew inspiration. but as i'm sure you know,a running theme seems to be a conflict of good VS bad which can be deemed everyday kind of obstacles.

Wow she is everywhere... And with Blake? I'd've never thunk it, although the pics of them frolicking (?) are kinda sweet I guess.

I miss her bangs.

when i firs listened the album i tough ``yeah, she could have left few songaway´´ but i still loved this album so so much.
anyway, now after listening it like 1000000 times i don´t think the same anymore, she has her style what makes her florence+the machine and how we rocognize her...she starts little quet and boooom suddenly everything goes big and loud.
maybe that is the reason people use that word?
i don´t know.

i really like the deluxe version, acoustic versions from heartlines and shake it out are the best.
oh, and i like landscape too and no lights,no lights.

^i'm with you on that sentiment.

to be honest,i think critics can sometimes be overly critical if not downright nit-picky. i figure if the work still resonates and feels authentic,i can overlook certain elements.

I've been listening to her latest album nonstop. It's so freaking amazing. :woot:

^ Thanks for posting that. I'm so enjoying her album.

Flawless pic from the other day in OZ -

Yeah, there are so many Biblical references in her lyrics.

My favourite song is This and Heaven Too. The chorusing is unbelievable. So beautiful.
