How do you get to be the person who does these embellishments? I know how to do so many of them. Somebody in the UK, hire me! The closest I've come to it so far is doing the custom embroidery for several reproduction gowns, and I'll be starting on embroidering some stomachers next week, but oH!, how I would love to be doing this every day.

haha, i'm a little disillusioned now those dresses with the blue and black mix, i thought they were dyed actually that way, when i saw them in her thread, but i guess it's just lighting -_- the concept for that collection was still pretty neat though... using old patterns from several brands and pasting them together to create a new pattern

the lanvin is nice too :p some of their dresses there have construction details (ie darts) on the outside rather than on the inside where they usually are supposed to be, to give shape to the dress

I love tsumori, she always has such a beautiful embroideries in her work.. with the exception of F/W 07.08.. but nobody's perfect, I guess. :mellow:
