*nods* Great thread.
The pictures from the japanese magazine gives you the general gist of what to do. Thanks for the scan!

I love them!!!!! I wanna make some to pin into my hair when I have an updo

flower brooches are nice. They add a little something "extra" to an outfit...if done right of course. :)

This one is most def my favourite! And the sparkly necklace too - brilliant!
I think the corsage still has life in it, I like wearing my winter scarfs and then draped and pinned to my lapel with a corsage. You're right, it always adds that bit of zaz to an outfit. B)

I have tons, during the summer i wore them in my hair, and for fall i have the fur ones.

I've made these before!

This one was for trimming on a winter hat.

This one is on the waistband of one of my blouses.

I'm about to make some more for trim on another hat I am going to make.

What I do is cut a strip of fabric about half a yard long, and cut scallops or points all along one side. Then I zig-zag stitch along all the raw edges, to prevent it ravelling and to give it body, plus I like the contrasting look. Then I gather the long straight edge of the strip, then coil it upon itself, stitching it so that the flower petals lie outwards. I make the leaves from oval or triangular pieces that are zig-zagged along the edges and gathered on one end.

I did the flowers for this hat similarly, though I did not zig-zag the edges. I simply cut them with pinking shears, which will alleviate fraying on small pieces.

I have a few big silk ones (fluffy/pouffy) in pink and black, but I have trouble actually including them in outfits. They have a very dressy feel, and it looks weird because for some reason it sticks out too much. From one angle it will look cool, but then turn 45 degrees and there's no way I can leave the house with something silly just sitting there.

Maybe I should buy some smaller ones, it might be a lot easier. I never wear floral prints, so this is the other girly alternative.

for the most part i think the majority of them should burn

I think flower attach to a woolly hat is cute, like in the third pic that emi25 posted
