Hey everyone, I have noticed here in Cali that tights with shorts for women are very much in season. Teenagers to adults have taken the initiative to go out is style. J Crew also promoted this in a catalog and online not long ago. It was coming in style over the past several months. Jean cutoffs / shorts, twill shorts, or other casual fit shorts are the in thing paired with tights. Some wear cotton or wool tights with long tshirt and ballet flats. Saw this look in Forever 21 this past weekend. I was trying to distingquish leggings from tights but this asian girl was wearing cotton tights, there was no socks and the fabric covered her complete foot. Looked like leggings but for sure tights. As long as they are thick enoough to cover your back end, and the short or tunic is long enough, why not? Also, when at the Grove in LA, the H&M store and Forever 21 has employees wearing leggings and tights with shirts and short dresses. I couldnt help to notice but one salesgal was wearing a short dress and it was obvious she was wearing tights. Her dress barely covered her but panels show if your top is too short. Be sure to wear tunic or oversized shirt with tights or wear heavy tights so nothing will be noticed.
