Freida Pinto

She's getting a lot of perks for having had a small part (where the acting was pretty bad) in a film. I'd be wary that her fame was happening too quickly and wouldn't last, it all seems like too much for doing so little

The Chanel look; not a fan. Don't like the shoes or clutch and the dress doesn't do anything for her

Freida Pinto is featured in one of Elle’s latest spreads that supermodel Erin Wasson styled.

Thanks for the high qualities Jackie_Oh!

She has great bone structure. It's really amazing! In fact, it kinda reminds me of Lakshmi Menon (Indian Model). I don't think they look "alike" too much, but I see the similar resemblance in their bone structure.

I like that her style is simple, and yet there's an elegance about it.

Maybe that says a lot about her ability to be a star or have star quality. She's gotten so much for doing so little, but people obviously like Freida and if I were her, I'd ride the cash cow too!

There's an actress on this show that my sister watches called Greek, her name is Dilshad Vadsaria and I think she kind of looks like Freida.

I so, so, so agree. If she's given a substantial role in Woody's film, we'll see if she has real star power.

That's what I was wondering too. Look what I found on style.com (I'm sorry if it's a repost):

Freida Pinto: Beauty Icon?

March 3, 2009 12:22 pm

If Freida Pinto’s cameo front-row at Dolce & Gabbana yesterday is any indication, the actress is being wholeheartedly embraced by the fashion world. But the beauty community is staking its claim, too; the Slumdog Millionaire star is rumored to be in talks with Estée Lauder to become a spokesperson for the brand. Details have yet to be confirmed, but her contract would no doubt be sizable, which begs the question: Is her newfound It girl status warranted or is this a case of too much too soon?

What do you guys think? Is she the case of too much too soon? :ninja:

I personally find her gorgeous, outspoken and interesting enough to become a real star and I am looking forward to seeing her in the Woody Allen movie

She looked so lovely at the Chanel show, love the white dress with the chains:heart:

She looks like she had a blast in Paris! She is soaking up all the fame like a sponge! Good for her!

I hate the candid outfit in Paris...the jacket is awful
I thought she was the one in the skirt/tights combo at first which would have looked nice on her
