Freida Pinto graces the cover of BlackBook magazine’s November “Protest” issue, on newsstands now!

The 26-year-old actress was styled in homage to Bianca Jagger, who wrote the issue’s opening essay!

Here’s what Freida had to share with BlackBook’s Ben Barna:

On worrying about having a career after a huge first film: “When your first film happens to be such a big success, there’s going to be pressure and expectations, and people are going to dissect you in a way that’s almost uncomfortable. I was worried people might dismiss me as someone who had 20 minutes in a film and now considers herself a big star. But it’s like, my god, I never asked for this.”

On whether she’ll ever do a Bollywood film: “People in India wonder why I’m staying clear of Bollywood films. I’m not staying clear of them, but there are some amazing films in India, made on a much smaller scale, that don’t get the same appreciation as the big Bollywood films, and I’ve never understood why. Those are the films that I want to be a part of, so I’m just waiting for something like that to come my way, and I’m telling you, I’m going to grab it with both hands.”

On rumors of her engagement to Dev Patel: “Dev had such a problem trying to tell people that was not true. I’ve decided not to answer stupidity with more stupidity.”

She doesn't have the same stylist the she had for Slumdog. Now it's Elizabeth Stewart. No wonder her style sucks now.

It's kind of sad that it's so obvious she has a new stylist, too. I'm blanking on his name, but her old one when she was doing Slumdog press I think his long surname started with a K, first name G... she needs him again he was AMAZING.

call me crazy but i dont think her style now is all that bad
i love the chanel couture dress she wore

I don't think the choices her stylist makes are actually bad, it's just the execution of some of her looks. The hair is either messy or the makeup is too heavy. She did have two fantastic looks when promoting Miral, however. The Dior gown and the McQueen dress she wore to the London Festival. She looked nice in the Chanel Couture dress, but the hair let her down. The same for the Marc Jacobs.

Isn't Elizabeth Stewart also Gwyneth Paltrow's stylist? I remember complaining about her because I was so disappointed with her Iron Man 2 looks. She's not the greatest stylist.

She's in The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Famous Faces

She debuted on the list last year, following her breakout performance in “Slumdog Millionaire”, and rises two spots in 2010. The pristine Indian beauty is a sure-fire lock to be on this list for the next decade.
